David Keith, Chef Instructor
Chef David Keith visualized himself as managing large operations in the hospitality industry. While in high school, Chef
David’s aspirations became so pronounced that he took the initiative to meet with and seek the advice of general
managers of 5-star hotels in California and Arizona. Having obtained their invaluable guidance, Chef David pursued
his culinary education and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He also earned
his bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Since then, Chef
David served the hospitality industry in various capacities. He later joined Nestle USA as a consultant and went into
Corporate Food Service at two Fortune 500 companies, namely Guckenheimer and Eurest. In Las Vegas, he was in
Corporate Management for Jack In The Box, executive chef at Red Rock Country Club, restaurant manager at Stratosphere’s
Top of the World, and F & B Manager at Dragon Ridge Golf Club. Chef David says that being an instructor
at LCBLV gives him the opportunity to influence, guide, and mold the next generation of hospitality professionals.
