Steve Santor, Chef Instructor
Chef Santor earned an Associate of Occupational Science degree from the Community College of Southern Nevada, where he was a member of the National Championship Culinary Team. Chef Santor attended the Culinary Olympics in Germany and assisted the national team, as well as the regional teams from Disney and the national junior regional team. Among his many activities, he has served as a delegate to the National Restaurant Association’s "Salute to Excellence" where he was an award recipient, and was honored with a Student of the Year award from the Fraternity of Executive Chefs of Las Vegas. Chef Santor is a founding and organizing member of the Las Vegas Culinary Challenge held each year in Las Vegas. He has worked for and apprenticed with Martin Yan, Paul Prudhomme and other well-known chefs, as well as holding a variety of culinary positions at Stations Casino, Caesar’s Palace and Bradley Ogden. Chef Santor currently teaches Introduction to Culinary Skills II.
